Zittau Mountains Nature Park is embedded in the tripoint with Poland and the Czech Republic, and offers a variety of challenging trails with a stunning scenery in the backdrop. Breathtaking views and unforgettable moments are guaranteed as you ascend the sloping sandstone walls.

The segment challenge offers additional series ranking points to the top climbers over a defined section of the course. We go one better and honour the fastest athlete M/F of the 65k, 50k and 25k courses.

The O-SEE 65k and O-SEE 50k courses have been evaluated and are listed by the ITRA with 3 and 2 points respectively, as well as being represented in the ITRA National League. The courses Minis 500m to O-SEE 16k will be counted as runs in the SachsenEnergie Läufer-Cup series.

REGISTRATIONAfter your registration, you will receive your personal registration confirmation by email. This entitles you to pick up your starting documents at the starting documents desk. You can only pick up your race documents without a registration confirmation upon presentation of your identity card. Underage participants require the written consent of both legal representatives to start. This must be presented when collecting the starting documents.

START FEEThe payment of the entry fees takes place directly during the online registration. The organisers have commissioned the company Baer-Service GmbH to handle the payment transactions. On the day of the competition, the entry fee can be paid in cash or by card and mobile payment services on site. In the event of a complete cancellation of the event due to official or legal orders, the entry fee will be refunded minus a processing fee. This fee is € 10.00 for the Trail Runs and € 4.00 for the Light Run/Walking. For the Kids Runs, the starting place will be transferred to the next year in the form of a credit note.

REFRESHMENTThere are further catering options in the finish area. For all Trail Runs no cups will be provided at the refreshment points. You must bring your own drinking containers to receive drinks. Refueling before running is important, which is possible at our pasta dinner the night before between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Reservation is required with the online registration in order to ensure admission.

GPS TRACKINGAll O-SEE 65k, O-SEE 50k and O-SEE 25k participants will be provided with a small GPS tracker device at the check-in in the start and finish area. The tracker must be worn during the entire race and returned after crossing the finish line. In the case of abandonment of the race, the GPS tracker and the start number must be handed in at a respective refreshment point. In the event of non-return or damage of the GPS tracker, the participant will be invoiced for the amount of € 100.00.

ROUTE MARKINGSThe routes are marked. However, markings may be missing or changed by rain, wind, vandalism or order-loving fellow citizens. It is recommended that all trail run participants carry a GPX-enabled phone or navigation watch with the track/route data of the respective route stored. The participant should be able to find the route even in the absence of markers.

TIME LIMIT / WITHDRAWAL & CUT OFFParticipants of the O-SEE 65k can change to the shorter O-SEE 50k during the running competition. The organisation office must always be informed of this by telephone or at the latest by announcing it at the course cut off point "Brandsteinweg/Wiesenweg" (50.838489 N, 14.715849 E). Participants who reach the cut off point "Brandsteinweg/Wiesenweg" after 3:30 p.m. must change to the shorter 50k distance and run directly towards the finish. In the event of the race being abandoned at a refreshment point, the start number (and GPS tracker) must be handed in or, in the event of a "wild" exit on the course, the organisation office must be informed immediately by telephone. A contact telephone number can be found on the race number. In the event of failure to do so, any search and rescue costs incurred may be charged to the participant. In the event of abandonment, there is no entitlement to return transport, even if this is attempted within the scope of possibilities. AWARD CEREMONYThe award ceremonies will take place in the start and finish area. Trail Runs Trophies will be awarded to the top 6 M/F finishers in the overall race of each course and to the first teams DUO (Men, Women, Mix) of the XTERRA 50k and 25k courses. As for the segment challenge “fastest uphill”, the best climbers M/F of the 65k, 50k and 25k courses will be honoured. Time to be announced on site, probably around 3:00 pm. Light and Kids Runs The first place winners M/F under 18s to Masters and the top 3 finishers M/F under 6s to under 16s will be honoured. Time to be announced on site, probably around 12:15 noon.

DISQUALIFICATIONAnyone who leaves the running course, does not follow the regulations, does not pass a control post, behaves in an unsportsmanlike manner or abuses doping will be disqualified.

OTHERDogs are not allowed as companions on the course. The conditions of the organisers O-SEE SPORTS e. V. according to the announcement, competition regulations and organisational guidelines as well as the conditions of participation are binding.

COMPETITION REGULATIONS AND ORGANISATIONAL GUIDELINESBy registering to take part in the O-SEE Ultra Trail and by taking part in these competitions, the participant declares that he/she accepts the invitation to compete, the competition regulations and organisational guidelines as well as the conditions of participation and submits to them. The event is based on the competition regulations of the German Athletics Association (German Athletics Regulations, Legal and Procedural Regulations, Anti-Doping Code, Referee Regulations). These can be viewed on the DLV homepage and on the day of the competition where the starting documents are handed out. The services of the organiser are only guaranteed to pre-registered participants. The registration is done online via baer-service.de or, in the case of late registration, via the organiser’s registration form. The registration is only valid when the entry fee has been received by the organiser. The starting documents can only be handed out without confirmation of registration on presentation of the individual's identity card when collecting the documents in person. Participants under 18 years of age require a parental consent form. This must be presented when collecting the starting documents. The organiser reserves the right to change the announcement, the regulations and the course. It is not possible to change the competition course during the competition, with the exception of O-SEE 65k to O-SEE 50k as mentioned in the event announcement document. In the case of abandonment of the race over the trail distances, the organisation office must be informed immediately. Failure to do so may result in the participant being charged for any search and rescue costs incurred. In the event of non-return or damage of the GPS tracker, the participant will be invoiced for the amount of € 100.00. In the case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, non-participation, postponement or abandonment of the race for reasons for which the organiser is not responsible, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the entry fees nor to reimbursement of other expenses such as travel or accommodation costs. In the event of a complete cancellation of the event due to official or legal orders, the entry fee will be refunded minus a processing fee. This fee is € 10.00 for the Trail Runs and € 4.00 for the Light Run/Walking. For the Kids Runs, the starting place will be transferred to the next year in the form of a credit note. In the event of illness of the participant, the transfer of the starting right (start number) to another person is only possible with the consent of Baer-Service GmbH. In the case of violation of the conditions of participation, in particular in the case of unsportsmanlike or unfair behaviour towards other participants, or in the case of non-observance of instructions from judges, stewards and helpers of the organiser, the participant can be disqualified or not admitted to the competition

I declare that I am fully aware of and agree with the announcement, the competition regulations and organisation guidelines of the organiser as well as the competition regulations of the DLV according to the official announcement and regulations. I accept the anti-doping rules of the NADA (National Anti Doping Agency), which can be downloaded or viewed on the NADA homepage. I confirm that I am physically fit and that my training and state of health meet the requirements of the competition. I am aware of the health and other risks and circumstances associated with the competition and expressly confirm that I participate in the event at my own risk. I agree to receive medical treatment during the competition at my own expense, should this be advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during the course of the competition. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings and sporting equipment during the competition and related activities. I will comply with the rules of conduct applicable to the competition. I will follow the instructions of the organiser and its staff. At the same time, I assure that I will observe and comply with the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), as the event will partly take place in public traffic areas. I agree that the data given in my registration as well as the photos, film recordings and other audio or video recordings made by me on the occasion of my participation in the competition may be used within the scope of the reporting of the event and for the advertising of this and future events of the O-SEE Sports e. V. without any claims for remuneration on my part. This does not apply to commercial use. I assure that the date of birth given is true and that I will not give my start number to any other person. I am aware that I may be disqualified if I alter the official race number in any way, in particular if I make the advertising print invisible or unrecognisable.
